Skis, boots, Skins, Poles and Bindings

I have quite a few ski set ups of course, but I feel like I could go down to 2 for the bulk of what I do, so I will focus on them here.

Bindings:

I exclusively use G3 Zed bindings. Light, bomber, versatile, simple. I’ve logged so many miles on these and they have not failed me. Easy option for taking the brakes on and off is a huge plus.

Skis:

G3 SendR 188 This is my workhorse touring ski. I am 6’2”, 190lbs, with size 13.5 boots, so I am a big dude! Which means a big ski, both underfoot and length is easier for me. Solid ski, but still playful enough, with a touch of rocker in the tail. I like flat under foot, as I almost never on groomers.

G3 FindR 102 184cm Solid more spring/skimo focused ski for me. Again, I like bigger skis under foot because of my massive boot size. Smaller footed people should look to the narrower versions.

Boots:

Technica Zero G Tour Pro This is so close to the perfect ski boot. Best downhill performance of every boot I have owned, especially considering its is also one of the lightest! Simple systems. My only negative is that snow creeps in everywhere.

Skins:

G3 Minimist Glide Mohair/Nylon mix, small pack size, great glide, durable. I use this skin 95% of the time.

Poles:

G3 Fixie aluminum poles. No need to complicate things.

G3 SendR.
versatile, charges, and it plays, and it doesn't break your back on the way up.

G3 Zed. Simple. Bomber.
