Full day crevasse rescue and glacier travel training with Brian and Eric.

We will focus on rope strategies (how to deploy quickly and efficiently) and using the rope to facilitate moving through terrain rather than hinder the team (what happens when we need to belay towards a crevasse or take in rope?).

Then we’ll move on to a deep dive into crevasse rescue practice from arresting a fall to the entire range of haul systems from teams of two to big groups.

Gear required is normal ski touring gear plus your current crevasse rescue kit. If you don’t have one put together, our personal list is here.
